Age: 22
Birthday: Nov 11 IS 457
Appearance: Typical elf qualities (long pointed ears, odd hair color, etc.) She's above average for a girl, being 5'6" tall and slender. Her hair is a parrot green color, long, wavy, and always pulled back into her trademark low pigtails. Her eyes are gold and she has a fairly healthy skin color from traveling. She wears a small and decorated white top with somewhat large pants that have a green checkered pattern. She wears a few accessories, jewelry, or add-on clothing items, her little silver forehead jewel being another trademark.
Personality: She can really be defined by her music. She puts her heart and soul into it. Nei is a gentle, forgiving, and above all, positive person. She puts others before herself and is a healer/supporter, both in literal terms and general personality. Another good way to describe her is as a big sister or motherly type. To her, friends and family is immensely important. This "kindness towards all" traits seem to be rare among her fellow elves. If she gets angry, it's always very mild and normally, she is just trying to help by reprimanding or correcting a bad behavior. If she gets sad, she will immediately blow it off and keep a calm front so that others won't be worried.
Weapons: Nocturne (bare-handed)
Skills/Special Abilities: Nei's fighting ability isn't all that shabby. Her acrobatic talent and martial arts knowledge have helped her out many times. Her strength is definately in rune magic though. She possess a unique support rune and above average control with a water rune.
Other Abilities: She is immensely talented in music. Her specialty is playing the bouzouki. She is also quite capable of singing even though she doesn't believe so. Her skills in acting, dancing, and drawing aren't too bad either. Most forms of live entertainment and artistry come well to her. She has a bizaare understanding with birds, too.
Runes: Jongleur Rune (permanent) and Water Rune
Weaknesses: She can sometimes be too shy or timid and won't speak up about what's really on her mind. She can sometimes be too nice and would allow people to take advantage of that. She will worry too much when it comes to her friends and silently cause herself a lot of physical and mental anguish. In battle, her physical strength and endurance isn't as good as it could be.
History:
Nei grew-up in a nameless, quiet, little Zexen village after being adopted by a caring human couple.* While she was unaware of where she might have come from and who her real parents were, Nei loved her human parents and was raised with little excitement. Her father was a martial arts teacher and is, of course, the one responsible for her intelligence in it. When she matured, Nei decided to leave home to expand her knowledge of the world and most importantly, to spread her love of music and entertainment, a gift she enjoyed and seemed to be born with. During her travels, she eventually picked up two special individuals who would become her closest friends and new family, Toppo and Shabon.
Eventually, they take their business to the bustling city of Vinay del Zexay, but Nei carelessly loses sight of Shabon right before they are about to leave for other towns. Luckily, a member of the soon-to-be Fire Bringer army at Budehuc castle rescues poor Shabon and returns her to Nei and Toppo. ** Out of gratitude, the trio are offered the opportunity to take their business to Budehuc castle. While Nei is a resident of Budehuc and helps as a member of the Fire Bringer, relieving with her music and fighting once in a great while, she makes acquaintance (and maybe more?) with Roland, one of the Six Knights of Zexen and fellow elf. After Luc and the other Destroyers are defeated, Nei leaves Budehuc along with Toppo and Shabon to continue the musical business in other lands.
During these travels, Nei is separated from the others at a port town while boarding a ship. She accidently ends up on the wrong ship and lands at Budehuc. After much dismay and gray hairs, Nei settles down again in Budehuc hoping that waiting instead of running around will make Toppo and Shabon find her more easily and sooner. Nei sees old friends and makes new ones in the castle town. She occupies most of her time with her old gig back at the tavern. Most of her days are spent there playing the bouzouki for any audience. She has held concerts frequently as well. The biggest discovery Nei has made while being back at Budehuc was finally learning about her real elven family. With Stallion's arrival, Nei is able to learn even more about her kind and have elven companionship. But soon after her and Stallion visit her hometown and parents to read a letter that she came with as a child, she is hit with the unexpected fact that Stallion is her half-brother. She is told to keep it secret while Stallion goes to investigate the matter more back at the Elf Village in Toran, but ends up blabbing it to the Budehuc residents by accident. Now with this truth finally out, Nei feels a lot closer to Stallion and not so alone or in the dark about her heritage anymore.
Earlier this year, Nei received a strange letter and departed to Vinay del Zexay. She may be in the Elf Village in Toran. She's back lol.

* This is different from the official/canon information for her, but I was a dumbass who wasn't aware that she already had a background and had already established in the rpg canon this story for her.
** I can't remember if it's Thomas or Hugo who can come help save Shabon or what, so it's vague since I don't think it's been stated in the rpg canon.
